Riehmood, Joan . f$$Chri$ Peterson I guess I conducted a one man crime wave today. Got. a ticket for over-parking. Since that time I have been brooding. This is supposed to be a democracy, but I say no. Every darn cop in the country is in the arrestocracy. Course there is one thing good that we can say bout them, es pecially the traffic cop. He whis Ucs at his work. But so does a fellow with adenoids. Then too, I may not be so bad off. I know a girl who is wanted by the police and the firemen. and the soldiers too. Have you ever noticed. Police men never arrest many women. Perhaps this is Uie reason. To sav the least is not the woman's w ay of doing it. I like our police force in Blair. Someone rottenegged one of the j town's leading citizens. The po- ! lice chief and the other two men i on the force spent two weeks looking for the guilty hen. Well.
