Women students Interested In university extra-curricular activi ties will have nn opportunity to become acquaint ed with the lead ers and purposes of the various rumpus organizations on Thurs day, Oct., 1, when the annual All- Activities tea, sponsored hy the A. V. S. board, is held from 3:30 to i :.".( o'clock in Kllen Smith hall. Students attending the tea will not bo able to sign up for the ac tivities in which Wiey prefer to participate, as has been done in iormer years, but will become ac quainted with the different etoui8 in order to be able to make their choice more easily, when they are permitted to sign in three weeks. A., anl several honor aries will have exhibits In various rooms throughout Kllen Smith hall, anl representatives from each group will be stationed In the rooms in order to explain the ac tivities and projects of the various organizations. Chairman in Charge. Those who will be in charge of exhibits for the different groups are: Y, W. C. A., Kathryn VV'in qulsl; A. W. S Hetty Cherny; W. A. A., Frances Holdman, Barb A. W. S., Dorcas Crawford; Coed Counselors, Kern Rloom; student council, Marylu Petersen, and pub lications, Kleanor Clizbe. The Y. W. C. A. will be in charge of decorations for the affair with Katherine llendy heading the com mittee, while the A. W. S. board will have Maxine Durand as the head of the refreshments group. W. A. A., with Bonnie Burn as committee chairman, will have charge of the reception, while the entertainment, supervised by the Coed Counselors will be in charge of Virginia Nolts. Special guests at the tea will include Miss Amanda Heppner, Dean of Women; Miss Klsie Ford Biper, assistant Dean of Women; Mrs. Ada Weslover, assistant to the Dean of Women, and Mrs. K. A. Burnett, in addition to the sponsors of the various organiza tions represented at the lea. COEDS WILL MODEL AT REPUBLICAN TEA Girls to Explain Styles at Meeting of Young G. 0. P. Group. University girls will model at a Young Republican tea Sunday, Sept. 27, at the Lincoln Univer sity club, Stuart building, from 3 to 5. Featured on the program will be a short talk by Miss Kay Ford, Chicago, co-chairman of the National Young Republican Fed eration. Fatty Drummond, Betty Van Horn, Helen Slielleday, Betty Cherny, Klizabeth Neelcy, Jean Rend.son, Marion Brainard, Frances Lincoln, Katherine Turner al1 of Lincoln; Charlotte Foster, Valen tine; Helen Fox, Red Oak, la.; and Virginia Geister, Garland, will model. Breta Feterson, Lincoln, will give an explanation of cos tumes worn. Mrs. Ignore Van Kirk will sing, and Miss Kthcl Owen's string trio will furnish music. Instead of the First Come-First Served system used last year, the Lottery system will again be used. 5,000 tickets in the heart of the east stadium have been reserved for students and faculty, and will go on sale Mon day, Sept. 28th at 8 o'clock. Any individual or group of individuals desiring good seats on or near the 50 yard line may bring their money to the coliseum as late as 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. By depositing their money these purchasers file their name in the lottery hat. Drawings will be made and announced shortly after the closing hour on Tuesday.
