E. H. Long, manager of the
College Book Store has offered a
$250 graduate scholarship in busi
ness research to be given to a stu
dent at Nebraska for next year.
Dean J. E. LeRossignol of the col
lege of business administration to
day announced the offer, and said
the award will also include exemp
tion from tuition for the student.

made a good record in scholarship
while an undergraduate student.
Dean LeRossignol said the winner
would be named within a few days.
A similar scholarship was of
fered recently for nex year by
J. E. Miller, president of the Miller
and Paine department store. Both
will go to graduate students inter
ested in business research.

TEACHING POSITIONS
Twenty-three students and form
er students at the university have
received teaching positions re
cently, according to the depart
ment of educational service. Melda
Alber, Council Bluffs, la., will
teach at the Iowa School of the
Deaf, Council Bluffs, la.; H. B.
Christianson, Ong to be superin
tendent at Daykin; Marion Dun
levy, San Diego, Calif., goes to the
Sherman elementary school at
Omaha; Viva Engel, Wood River
to Mead; Elmer Greenberg, Craw
ford to- Omaha Technical high

Additional Reporters
In order to cover all the news
on the campus of interest to
summer students, the Nebras
kan asks that a reporter be ap
pointed in each organized
rooming house. Each reporter
should visit or telephone the
Nebraskan office as soon as
possible, to make arrangements
for getting his news into the Is
sues. Any other summer students
who are interested in news
paper work, or who Instruct in
journalism and English in high
schools may get practical expe
rience on the summer Nebras
kan. The paper will welcome
you to its staff that it may bet
ter handle campus news during
the school season.
