Nebraskan Requests Rooming Houses to Appoint Reporters In order to cover all the news on the campus of interest to summer students the Nebras kan asks that a reporter be appointed in each organized rooming house. A meeting of these reporters will be called later. The Nebraskan suggests that in making those appointments each house, if possible, should designate who has had some previous experience along that line of work. Any other summer students who desire practical experience in reporting are asked to call at the Nebraskan office at any time. University Cadets Go To Fort Crook Camp University cadet who have had one year or more of advanced drill will arrive " next week at Port Crook for the regular summer training camp of the Reserve Of ficers Training Corps. Besides those from the university, students from Iowa and South Dakota uni versities and Creighton university at Omaha will be in attendance. SCHOLARSHIPS CO TO FIVE STUDENTS Names of the winners of five uni versity scholarships were an nounced recently by university of ficials. Louise Horrack, Suther land, and Ada Petrea, Pawnee City, will receive the Bostwlck scholarships. Wilbur isncKson, Newman Grove, won the junior award offered by Prof. Robert B Crawford. Merrill Whitman, Supe rior, was awarded the Broady scholarship and Paul M. Meyer of Hastings will receive the Walter J. Nickel freshman prize. Offered in honor of the late Henry C. Bostwick by Mrs. C. R Massey two awards of $100 each went to deserving students. The Crawford award was made to the most deserving junior nonfrater nity man, while the $100 Jefferson H. Broady scholarship was en dowed by Mr. and Mrs. John D. Clark. Whitman, the winner of an award, headed his sophomore law class last semester. The $25 fresh man prize was offered by Walter J. Nickel. Ernest Crosbie, Michigan State college student who represented the United States in the last Olym pics as a walker, is now training for his bid for the national cham pionships this spring. Students at Southwestern at Memphis, Tenn., recently took a test to determine whether or not they had acquired any general cul ture in their year at college.
