And as the Interfraternity Ball is one of the
finer traditions on the University of Nebraska
campus, so is the Daily Nebraskan. For since the
days when the University was still young, the Ne
braskan found its way into the fold as an official
gatherer and distributor of campus news.
But the ambition to succeed, to improve, to be
more representative of the great institution that gave
it its existence, has not been without difficulty. Its
going has been hard. Its size has been reduced. Its
