About 50 Freshmen Report
To Coach Weir for First
Practice Session.
EXPECT A FINE ELEVEN
With a icster of half a hundred
freshmen icpoiting for equipment
Coach Kd Weir is lather optimistic
about the Freshman-Varsity battle
scheduled for Sept. 3d. He believes
that the I'rosh will give the varsity
plenty of fight in spite of the fact
that the first stung will most
likely h. composed of all veterans.
"A It ho the varsity i- nearei
ready to go this fall than in many
seas-ms. I think we'll give them a
good aigument." Weir stated. The
freshmen who have appeared so
far this season appear much older
and i angler than has been the case
for several seasons Weir believes.
