m,-n have hern sent requests to at
m1 the opening praetiee and a.s
vet there have been no letters re
eive. stating the inability of any
pnp of them to he present.
The Husker schedule includes
ronfli'-ts with eight schools with
an additional possibility of an in
teractional contest. This has born
made highly probable by a change
in the Hip Six rulings, allowing;
members to play two more than
the original quota due to the week
tatus of the financial conditions
at present, thus enabling Nebraska
to nlav ten games this season.
However only Kansas is playing
t'i full maximum of ten games
and Coach Bible is reluctant to do
so but is willing to play nine if he
can find a suitable interseetional
opponent.
Quite a host of veterans are due
to report including Henry Bauer,
nuart-.-r: Hubert Boswe'd, back;
('"air Bishop, guard; Warren De
Bus, guard; Elmer Hubka. gitard;
Bob Jov. end: Bruce iulbourno.

John r.u! y. end; (leorge Saner,

two years ago, may return to the
moleskins.
Leticrmen who have graduated
are: Lawrence Ely, Chris Matins,
("arlvle Staab, Steve Hokuf, Cor
vin H'llbeTt. Clare Campbell, each
having had three years of compe
tition. Then Kahrnbrurh and For

will a!.- be unable to play due to
, ,-,nf..i.-.r,re ruilr.g as he completed

to NY! ra-ka.
However to offset this loss men

and who playeil end on the fresh

proficient kicker. In addition to
those there is Jerry Lanoue, speedy
running quarter who is considered
one of the fastest men on tho
squad and the giant tackle, Russell
Thompson, who has plenty of size
to back up his ideas.
The football officials for tho Ne

Bible, athletic director. This year
