'Announcements received to the present time show two formal dances are scheduled for this week end. Friday night Gamma Phi Beta entertains at the Cornhusker with Eddie Jungbluth playing while Saturday evening Alpha Phi sorority plans a party which will also be held at the Cornhusker. Joyce Ayres has charge of the music for the event. Friday night the upperclassmen commission of the Y. W. C. A. on the Ag campus is sponsiring a kid's party to be held in the student activities building. Jungbluth Plays For Friday evening at the Corn husker hotel Gamma Phi Beta an nounces a formal party. STUDENT CONGRESS DISAPPROVES ROTC Delegates to Chicago Meet Pass Resolutions for Abolishment. Abolishment of reserve officers' training camps on. college cam puses was recommended in a reso lution passed by delegates to the student congress against war held in Chicago during the Christmas holidays. The congress passed a resolution demanding immediate reinstatement of Milton Galatski, student at Lindbloom high school, Chicago, who was expelled for re fusing to attend a meeting held under the auspices of t h 3 R. O. T. C. Another resolution asked for elimination of military displays at graduation exercises. "The R. O. T. C," one resolution warned, "is an integral part of the country's war machine and method of dissemi nating jingoistic propaganda." Students were urged not only to oppose the R. O. T. C, but to join campus organizations and "seek to demoralize them from within." The 650 delegates were from sixty seven colleges in twenty-nine states, Canada and Cuba. Miss Margaret Fedde, chairman of the department of home eco nomics said concerning this ar rangement, "Many young women have a desire to take courses along this line but find it inconvenient to go to the agricultural campus for this purpose. Walton, instructor in psychology, who is on leave of ab sence while acting as research as sociate at the University of Iowa, was a recent visitor to the campus.
