Annual Farmers Ball Set
For October 30 to
Avoid Conflict.
At a meeting: of the A? execu
tive board Friday afternoon in Ag
hall, Hazel Bensen and Delphian
Nash, co-chairmen of the Farmers
Formal committee, announced that
the annual Farmers Formal would
be held Friday, October 30, instead
of Nov. 14, which was the ached
uled date.
The committee pointed out that
there would be a party held at tne
coliseum on Nov, 14, and that the
natural decorations would be more
easily obtained at an earlier date.
President Tom Snipes stated,
"As yet we have made no ar
rangements to hire o r c h e s
tras in blocks, but several sealed
bids have been opened."
The mixer schedule for the first
semester is as follows: Farmers
Formal, Oct. 31; Bock and Bridle,
Nov.,6; Phi Upsilon Omicron, Nov.
20; Home Ec club, Dec. 12; Dairy
club, Jan. 23; American Society
Agriculture Engineers, Dec. 5, or
Jan. 15.

Museum Society Shows Four
Reel Picture in Morrill
Hall Auditorium.
"The Four Seasons," a film of
four reels will feature the second
Sunday afternoon presentation by
the Nebraska Museum society to
be given this afternoon in the
downstairs auditorium of Morrill
hall. This educational film, which
was imported from Ames, la., de
picts the various changes of cover
ing of animals thru the four sea
sons of the year. The first pre
sentation is at 2:30 o'clock for the
children. The adult presentation
will begin at 4:15.
A record crowd was present at
the opening presentation a week
ago. It is estimated that more
than 200 adults attended and the
children's division packed the audi

ulty and students to the all uni
versity Homecoming party plan,
inaugurated by the Innocents this
year, promises to make the party
an annual event for future Ne
braska Homecomings.
