RECEIVES RESPONSE
Sales Indicate Larger List
of Subscriptions Than
Last Year.
More subscriptions to the Daily
Nebraskan have been sold during
the annual campaign this year
than had been sold last year at the
same period of the sales drive, ac
cording to Jack Thompson, busi
ness manager of the; publication.
Fraternity and orority houses
have responded unusually well,
Thompson declares, although a
few laggard groups are being so
licited before the end of the drive
this 'Saturday.
"The entire campus has re-
sponded well," the business mana
ger in charge of the campaign
said, "and appreciation is due both
faculty membe-rs and students for
their hearty co-operation in the
support of a leading: campus enter
prise." The drive for aubscriptiong elopes
this week end, and all Ftudents,
faculty members and organizations
are urged to get their subscriptions
in by that time.
