Koolen Will Meet Calvert at
Antelope; Gelwick Plays
Dubry at Eastridge.
Klaurens-Partridge Match
at Eastridge; Schmidt and
Johnson at Antelope.
Th3 final round of the six flights
of the golf tournament are being
played this week and must be
completed by next Wednesday eve
ning at 6 o'clock. Turn in scores
to M. R. Colson or Prof. E. W.
Lantz.
The pairings for the finals are:
Antelope, first flight; Koolen vs.
Calvert; second flight, Schmidt vs.
Johnson, and third flight, Dye vs.
Cropper. Eastridge, first flight,
Dubry vs. Gelwick; second flight,
Klaurens vs. Partridge; third
flight, Gettings vs. Noyes.
In the semifinal rounds com
pleted last Wednesday evening in
the first flight at Eastridge, Du
bry defeated Webb; Gelwick beat
Starkebaum. Second flight, Part
ridge took Lehman; third flight,
Gettings defeated Miller and
Bowers dropped his match to
Noyes.
'At Antelope, first flight, Koolen
defeated Lieben while Calvert was
disposing of Byers. The second
fligfht saw Schmidt win over Huff.
Johnson drew a forfeit from the
Panter-McCormack match. Dye
eliminated' Ritchey in the third
flight and Cropper advanced to
the semifinals with a forfeit from
the Guthrie and Hamilton match.
Prizes vill be awarded to the
winners of the above flights by
M. R. Colson of the student execu
tive committee.

The horseshoe tournament has
completed the first round and is
half way thru the quarter finals.
The lower bracket of the latter
round is to be completed this week
as a part of the semi-final matches.
Finals must be completed by July
29.
Guthrie defeated Schwarz in the
quarter finals while Bunch beat
Witt who had been substituted for
the Cotting-Klaurence match. Epp
was defeated by Wilhelms, the lat
ter being substituted for Beatty
and Swan who were declared in
eligible because they were not
students in the university this sum
mer. Schmidt won from Clason.
In the first round, Vogt for
feited to Ritchey while Wilson won
i nthe same maner from Arthur
Jones; Vogt and Jones having
completed the ix week term.
The pairings for the rest of the
quarter fin i i include Andrews vs.
Lightbody; Majors vs. Quimby and
Ritchey vs. Patterson who has been
substituted for Wilson.
The pairings for the semi-finals
in the upper bracket include
Guthrie vs. Busch; Wilhelms vs.
Schmidt.
The horseshoe courts are open
almost every evening uouth of
Teachers college and some member
of the students executive commit
tee will be present in order that
the maches may be played with
officials present.
