A governor, an editor and two federal educational authorities told the National Education association what is wrong with the little red schoolhouse and some of the ways to correct it, at the national con vention held in Los Angeles last week. Governor Dern of Utah said edu cation "must play an Important part in the development of agricul tural marketing and fathom a more equitable way in the division of school monyes." Consolidated schools, said Clar ence' Poe, editor of a Raleigh, N. C, magazine, must be kept in the country and not verge on city limits. He said he believed the "school of tomorrow" will be the "little capital of a community re public" with rural districts de fining their own boundaries and "integrating themselves about the schools as centers of life.'.' .
