Lawrence, Kansas dispatches
emphasize the importance that is

university dual meet to be held
here Monday afternoon, Way 11,
at Lawrence. The winner of this
cinder and turf battle will reign as
lavorite to capture the conference
outdoor title here May 22 and 23.
Coach Schultes men aie doped
to hold a slight margin of advan

Musker triumph in the Big Six in
door earlier in the spring. Coach
Brutus Hamilton's Jayhawks are
made up of a goodly portion of his
1P30 conference championship
squad, however, and he has de
veloped a number of strong sopho
mores. The combination Indicates
that neither of the dual nor Big
Six battle will be "pickings" for
the scat let and cream crew.
In Ralph Sickle and Joe Klaner.
Kansas has two excellent dash men
to run against Smutny and Lee of
Nebraska. The hurdles arc also
predicted to furnish some bright
entertainment. The Cornhuskers
