Few pni'ties have been scheduled for the coming week end
;is the evening of Good Friday is closed to dancing. With only
one evening for parlies, a niet week end is anticipated. On
Saturday Delta Sigma Phi will be host at a spring party at
the Cornhnsker hotel. On the same evening an All-University
party has been scheduled at the coliseum.

the University of Minnesota, the
University of North Dakota, and
Drake and Iowa State universities,
who have been attending the Delta
Gamma province convention held

ning, Mrs. Knapp, the house
mother, and Mr. and Mrs. James

girls Saturday. They are Helen

Thorns, and Helen Volin, Lincoln.
The initiates were guests at a
formal banquet at the chapter
house Saturday evening. Pink
rosebuds and rose and green dec
orations were used. The entertain
ment consisted of a vocal solo by
Marie Walther, and a clarinet solo
by Margaret Colver. Francis Bab-
cock, who is teacning ai wiiDur,
spent the week end at the chapter
house.

Formal Initiation Fete.
A formal dinner in courtesy to
all of the initiates of Alpha Omi
cron Pi was given at the chapter
house Friday evening alter initia
tion. Spring flowers decorated the
table. Those initiated were AHene
Muman, Margaret Wilson, Helen
Belle Dirk, Ruth Dunsing, Eloise
Fairhead, Ruth Frantz, Helen Har
rison. Helen Klein, Margaret Up
son and Jane Wickersham.

into Delta Fts chaptpr nf Sigma
Nu at the annual spring initiation
ceremonies Friday afternoon. The
initiation was watched by division
al inspector, Dr. E. H. Hashinger,
Kansas City, Kas.; Max Anderson,
Lincoln attorney and alumnus or
Nu chapter at Lawrence, Kas.,
whose son, Roland Anderson, was
one of the class of ten, and a num
ber of alumni who had returned
for the occasion.
The initiation, which began at 4
o'clock, was followed by a banquet
at the chapter house at 7. Speak
ers for the evening were Doctor
Hashinger, Mr. Anderson and Eu
gene Taylor, Omaha, president of
the local cbapter, who also served
as toastmaster.

Gamma Phis Give
Dinner for Brothers
Gamma Phi Beta entertained at
dinner Friday evening, honoring
fifteen Gamma Phi brothers. The
sorority colors of double brown
formed the color scheme for deco
ration. Tall tapers and spring
flowers were used on the tables.
Special music was furnished by
Mrs. Douglas Tlmmerman. An
hour dance followed the dinner.
