XOP OL' TEXAS!" This haa
wmnt th battle crv of the
Comhuskers and will not subside
until the final gun goes off Sat
urday afternoon. Whether the
game ends win, lose or draw, Ne
braskans will scream "Top Ol'
Texas" until the last moment.
Thia idea of having a alogan
for each game is sponsored by
the Innocents society and has
proved to be extremely popular.
Placarda appeared about the
campus Wednesday and every
Husker car should be adorned
with one of these cards. It Just
goes with all the rest of the en
thusiasm. OW that football season is
about to officially begin, the
question of rallies will claim a
little attention. Last year the ath
letic department became afraid
that enough spirit was not being
generated for the Nebraska-Kan
sas Aggie game.
A campaign for excitement was
started and after the smoke of
battle had cleared away it was
discovered that several professors
had received minor injuries, 1n ad
dition to their outraged dignities.
No casualties were reported, how
ever. Pittsburgh, Missouri and Kan
sas Aggies will be the cause of
the three major rallies this year
and rallies for the other games
will not be quite as important.
DY a rally being important it is
D not meant that no attention
will be paid to the other games.
The idea of having the three ma
jor rallies was adopted because a
rally loses its effect If the same
routine is gone through for every
game.
The Innocents, Corn Cobs, Mor
tar boards and Tassels have a real
job ahead of them. They must de
velop plenty of pep and fire for
the big games of the year but
must also be able to keep tnis en
thusiam under control.
The discussion and excitement
aroused by last year's demonstra
tion has placed the student body
in a critical position.
TF the students don't get excited

Quality First, Always
Food is fuel for that curious engine we call our body. And as in the case
with all other engines, the best quality of fuel gives the best results.
That is why our motto is "Quality First, Always" in preparing and serving
our Special Students' Lunch and Special Students' Supper at the
ANNEX CAFE
where twenty University of Nebraska football players have agreed to man
age the upstairs dining room for D, H. Harris.
The lunch hour begins at 11 :00 a. m. and lasts until 2 :00 p. m. During this
period you may have your choice of three numbered lunches, all different
and different each day, consisting of meat, vegetables, rolls and butter, and
coffee or milk, at the very low price of 35 cents.
The Special Students Supper begins at 5:00 p. m. and lasts until 8:00 p. m.
It is similar and yet different from the lunch, and the price is 35 cents.
Students who must economize can live well ai i keep well eating at the
Annex Cafe, and spend leu than a dollar a day.
