tion that the students may have
been aware that tbey were not
getting value received for the pur
chase price of the Nebraska an
nual. Suth charge as this will

vestigated. Thers has been considerable
criticism f the art work In this
year's Cornhusker, but this alons
cannot account for ths fact that
only small minority of ths stu
dents showed enough Interest to
purchase a copy of the annual.
A STUDENT tells me that he
feels self conscious every time
he enters the library, because of
the universal summer school nabii
of gawking at the door each time
a new arrival enters. . ..
I see no reason that he should
feel that way. My only emotion
on entering the Library is an inner
glow of self righteousness. This
same emotion swells up In me on
other rare occasions when I ex
hibit the scholarly attitude, nnd no
rallery of "rubbering" spectators
