Will Rogers in "The Texas Steer"
is the star and title writer of a com
edy in which the famous "cow punch
er" pokes fun at our politicians. You
should enjoy this one because it has
some good wise cracks in the titles.
LINCOLN
"Feel My Pulse" is a comedy
drama starring Miss Bebe Daniels
and although I am very partial to
Miss Daniels, I can't hand her much
in this vehicle. It contains some cle
ver comedy but for the most part it's
just tosh. I
A pampered, society "invalid" de
cides to go to her sanitarium in the
country and rest up. The sanitarium,
unknown to her, has been converted
into a rum shipping base. When she
arrives, the attendants attempt to
create a sickly atmosphere by forc
ing the yeggs that hang out there to
act as patients. Just when the villian
and a rival gang attempt to pull their
dirty work, the government agents
raid the place. You know the rest.
Now the high spot. Two girls that
look lik emother and daughter and
sing like a nightingale and a man,
will win you over right now. Miss
Howard is so good looking and Miss
Linn so funny that you feel cheated
unless they respond to at least two
encores.
LIBERTY
The stock company should enjoy
good patronage this week for their
presentation ranks with the best that
thev have ever offered. "Seventh
Heaven" is a mighty fine drama, a
touching" story that will remind you
just a little of "Camille" and "Love."

well cast, honors go to Miss White.
Some very fine work, Marion.
Mr. Harolde, and all the rest of
the cast, are as usual very good.
ORPHEUM
Garbo fans will probably be vervt
enthusiastic about the vehicle in
wmch she appears at the Orpheum
this week. And the rest of you well
she does do some good acting and
your interest will center more around
it than the story.
"The Divine Woman" is a certain
Marianne who is brought to Paris
as a surprise gift to a worldly wise
mother. She is gawky and untutored
and therefore not accepted by her
mother. She falls in love with a sol
dier and by chance is introduced to
the stage. The conflict between her
love for the stage and her lovei for
the man is the theme of the story.
RIALTO
"Chicago" is the storv of a o-irl
that was bad, as bad as a little
head strong girl can be. Not a re
deeming characteristic about her
Though she is not played for sympa
thy, you feel ratehr sorry for her
and wonder why you feel that way.
fnyjiis Haver as the bad girl and
Victor Varconi as her husband, do
some very fine acting.
Not satisfied with what her hus
band can furnish her, she has a little
playmate on the side to furnish the
luxuries. When he tires of her, she
kills him. Being played up as Chi
cago's most beautiful murderess giv
es her quite a thrill, until she
learnshow the fickle witch of fame
has used her as a toy to be played
with, then tossed aside and forgot
ten. '

Johnson. Ilusker miler, will battle
for honors. Janulewicz of Nebraska
should furnish these two runners fast
competition as shown by his victory
in the mile race last week against
the Nebraska College Conference
champions.
The Husker-Aggie meet will start
promptly at 3:30 o'clock Saturday
afternoon and temporary bleachers
have been installed to take care of
the expected crowd. The meet will
afford track fans an opportunity to
see two of the Missouri Valley's
crack cinder aggregations in action.
The result of Saturday's contest will
given cinder enthusiasts an idea of
the strength of these two teams.
