BUSKER CAGERS TO MEET DRAKE Bulldogs Loom at Strong Op ponents for Nebraakans On Home Court Nobraska meeta the Drake Bull dogs tomorrow evening In the second game of the season to be played on the home court Although the Hus ker victory over the Kansas squad rates Coach Black's squad as a for midable title contender, the Des Moines team is slated to put up a stiff opposition. The line-up for the Saturday con test will be the same as that startea In the Jaybawk games, according to present indications. Captain Smaha and Othmer as forwards, Page at center, Holm and Andreson at guards, will probably be the starting quintet. No scrimmage was slated for the squad in the workout yesterday afternoon, as the effects of the re turn trip from Kansas early in the morning favored only a light work out on passing and goal shooting. T.K.E. CAGERS ARE VICTOTIOUS (Continued from Page $ne.) to examination time and believed it best to stay home. Therefore Phi Sigma Kappa advanced a step nearer to another championship. Class B Holmquist and Towne lead an eager troupe of Phi Gams to victory over the Pi Kappa Phi. But two bas kets were shot during the game and the rest of the tallys came by the free-throw route. The game ended 8 to 3. In another of the openers of Class B, the Phi Sigma Kappa followed the footsteps of their brothers and won over Alpha Gamma Rho seconds, 13 to 1. Trioby and Folman starred for the winners. CU. The Morkrum, installed on a loop from one of the regular day circuits of the U. P. will deliver in the jour nalism laboratory the 18,000 words of news which goos each day to newt paper clients of the press associa tion. Students of copyreading, work ing in small groups around the copy desk under an instructor, will use the material in learning to edit telegraph copy, and write headlines, ana also to study the selection from the press report that is made in various news paper offices. Formerly the students used carbon copies of the press report supplied a day late by the news operators in local newspaper offices. The tele graph printer, which works without an operator, will deliver the matter hot from the wire. The installation of the full leased wire service is looked upon as a fur ther development of the policy of tha Course in Journalism to give realistic instruction in the technical problems of newspaper making. Studants Have Own Idas "Few can doubt the fact that most studonta have points of view concern ing the process of instruction and their Instructors. Just how worth while and potent are these points of view remains an open question. ur thormore, the students of today are tho citizens and taxpayers of tomor row, with certain latitudes toward educatn as a result of their ex periences while endeavoring to se curo an education. Educations should probably not forget tho points of view of students in terms of the fu ture of the program of public educa tion. "It may be that the attitudes of students toward the process of in struction are, for the most pnrt, fa vorablo if that instruction is inspir ational and recognizably worth while in terms of the hopes, aims, objec tives, .ambitions and aspirations of the students. On the other hand, it may be more or less equally true that tho attitudes of students toward the process of instruction are, for the most part, unfavorable if that in struction Is based upon various emo tional states of fear as a motivating'. agency to assist the students to at tain their worth while hopes, aims, and ambitions."
