As the indoor track season ap
proaches. Coach Bachman, of the
Kansas Aggies, is beginning to real
ize a few worries over his track pros
pects. A glance at his group of dis
tance men, one would say that his
frets were unfounded. However,
the Kansas Aggie director has need
ed sprinters since the graduation of
"Red" Erwin, and there is a particu
lar weakness in the Aggie field
events.
Kimport of course is the best and
most important member of the Kan
sas farmers track men. As a miler
and half-miler he is one of the best
in the Valley. The Aggie were
able to win the K. C. A. C. 2-mile
relay last year and with the return
of almost the same team the pros
pects are again good.
