MAKE PLANS FOR
MONSTER BONFIRE
Freshmen Are Asked to Provide
Boxes for Demonstration
Wednesday Night
Freshmen are asked to carry out
plans for a monster bonfire on the
drill field the night of the Notre
Dame rally. The task that has been
given them is that of collecting of
enough wooden boxes to make a fire
big enough to show the real extent
of the Cornhusker spirit.
Three years ago there was a bon
fire on the drill field; and Nebraska
got results. This year the school is
striving for the name outcome.
Lincoln merchants will be glad to
give away old wooden boxes all that
remains to be done is to collect them
on the field. The Innocents have
assigned this job to the Freshmen and
they are confident that their wishes
will be carried out.
The Innocents have announced that
they are planning to give a short pro
gram from a speaker's stand to be
erected in the light of the fire.
