trade to the beat calf roper. The
judges of the contest will be F. II.
Beaumont, John Munn, and Earnest
Folsom. All of these men are ex
perienced horsemen and should prove
to be competent judges.

tered are Oscar Yoder, Mark HirMg,
Glen Curtis, Pearly Wyatt, Mile! Mo
Culloutrh and Watson Foster.
"Chuck" Woodrum. Burwcll. Neb..
and Julius Anderson of Rosebud, S.
D., both experienced riders, have also
signed up for the contests.
Mark Hirslg of Cheyenne, Wyo.,
will puton an original mounted quad
rille in which eight men and eight
women will take part. Mr. Hirslg
will use his own horses for this event
and tho riders will bo members of
some of hii riding classes. Mr. Hir
slg will also give riding and roping
demonstrations and will exhibit tho
tricks of some of his trained horacs.
Tho horses that have been secured
by tho committee this year are of
a better quaity for this type of show
than thoso that have been used at any
previous Fair. "High Moon," one of
the bucking horses, hna never been
ridden and hna been used In Wild
West shows in ajl parts of the state.
"I-Bo-Damn," an6ther of the buck
ing horses, has the reputation of hav
ing thrown every rider who has ever
mounted him. Names of some of the
other more notorious horses are:
"The Wahoo Wasp," "Hard Hearted
Hannah," and "Appendicitis."
The steers and mules are of a very
vicious nature and will give even the
experienced riders much difficulty.
It should be worth coming to the
Farmers' Fair to see the Wild West
show alone, regardless of the many
other attractions. The Wild West
show will be held at the east part of
the campus at 2 o'clock. Guide books
and the barkers will direct those attending.

The idea was presented to the club
at its bi-monthly meeting by Coach

braska's athletes assembled at 4
o'clock in front of the east stand and
each planted a vjne.
