Lawless Standi High in Past
Weeks Make Point Prone
and Sitting.
Tbe University of Nebraska wo
;ta team fired its best record
targets of the year last week. The
women's total ten-member scor? in
the prone and Bitting position was
1797, an improvement of 89 points
over the previous high' score for
these positions, in me prone posi
tion the co-eds improved their score
17 points, raising their former high
mark of 927 to . .
The best co-ed marksman for the
weck was Isabelle Lawless who made
. of 192 in the prone and sit-
nositions. She also led in the
prone firing where she was tied with
G. Foster, both making a score of
oa D. if. Abbott was second in
both the prone, and the prone and
sitting firing. She made 189 in the
prone and sitting positions, and 97
in the prone position.
K. Kidwell and K. Jensen tied for
third place in the prone shooting,
both making 96. Marie Hermanek,
making 95, was fourth in the prone.
The shooting in the prone posi
tion was against the University of
Oregon, und the University of Wis
consin. In the prone and sitting
position, the match was with the
Oregon Agricultural College.
The scores in the prone and sit
ting positions were:
