students spend their time. It was
discovered that the ordinary student
gives about five hours and a half a
day at meals and six hours at rprr-
ation.
OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY
Children must have their hair cut
on Thursday because students must
be slick on Friday. Because of the
crowded conditions at barber shops,
a ruling has been made that children
of the faculty cannot have work done
on Friday or Saturday.
INDIANA UNIVERSITY As a
weapon to combat men who arc
pledged to a fraternity after owing
bills to another organization, the
Men's Pan-Hellenic Association pass
ed by unanimous vote a ruling for
bidding such pledging and imposing a
heavy fine for violation of the new
regulation.
WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY
Over 100 freshman out of a class
of 735 were not allowed to register
for the second semester because of
poor grades. Over 200 fell under
the delinquent ruling, but half of
them were given a second chance.
