cently when the winner of the annual
event rolled a groober around- the
standard course in exactly nine min
utes. The former record was estab
lished four years ago and was twen
ty minutes.

Illinois, to see the gridiron clash be
tween Illinois and Ohio State. 7500
t-ckets were sent to Columbus from
Illinois.

UNIVERSITY OP ARIZONA
The detailed account of the moneys
of the University for the past year
shows that apr" oximately $1000 is
expended on earV student in the Uni
versity of Arizona. This amount in
cludes everything from postage
stamps to an experimental well. Two
thirds of the amount was spent in
salaries. $36,000 worth of food was
consumed in the year, $21,000 worth
of books and $10,000 worth of paper
was used to satisfy the craving for
knowledge.

two hours of playing leap-frog, mar
bles, and other games of the past,
prizes were awarded to the wearers
