will be at Antelope park for a field
day. Races, surveying, slide-rule
running, and other features will b9
on the program. Lunch is to be de
livered at 12 o'clock, razes given
by Evans laundry, the College Book
Store and Lincoln Sporting Goods
Store are to be given to the fastest
and most accurate men.
The annual banquet will be held
in the Lincoln hotel Friday night at
6:15. John Harrington of Kansas
City and New York city has been se
cured to address ths Engineers. Many
graduates and practicing engineers
are to be at this banquet.
The week will wind up with the
dance Saturday at the K. C. hall.

Minnesota Professor Compares
American and European
Pharmacists.
The annual College of Pharmacy
banquet, attended by approximately
150 students and faculty members,
was held Thursday evening at the
Lincoln hotel.
Prof. Martin Chittick, an alumnus
of the Nebraska College of Phar
macy, at present a professor in the
Collesre of Pharmacy at Minnesota,
gave a talk on "Men and Pharmacy."
"We must have more complete,
concentrated training to elevate phar
macy. The responsibility rests on
our shoulders," said Professor Chit-tick.
He compared the pharmacist of
Europe with the pharmacist of Amer
ica, mentioning the fact that the Eur
opean pharmacist carries no sidelines
in his business.
M. E. Rasdall spoke on "Living
Our Profession," and Leona Craw
ford made a few remarks on "Your
College and Mine," emphasizing the
