Rock Island. Coach Schulte is taking
the following eight athletes with him

team. Because of the lack of proper
training facilities, Coach Schulte has
been unable to develop his four-mile
team, and so he will not compete a
four-mile team Saturday.
With an even ' break in the luck,
the Husker sprint relay team, which
won second place in both the 440-yard
and 880-yard relay honors in these
races. The Huskers, however, have
been handicapped this week by lack
of a suitable place to train, and this
obstacle may hinder the Husker track
sters Saturday.
Will Initiate Twelve
New Members Friday
Talladian will initiate twelve new
members for the second semester at
its regular initiation, which will be
held at a closed meeting Friday night.
The following people will be initiated:

one of the big events of the college
school year. It is the one event of
the year at which all Bizads turn
out.

toastmaster for the banquet. Speak

Avery. K. V. Koupal for the alumni
of the college, Harry Latowsky and
Kenneth Cozier, president of the
Commercial Club, student speakers,
and one member of the Board of Re
gents who has not definitely been de
cided upon.

Today Postponed
Until Next Week
Convocation for Thursday, April 2G,
has been called off because of the ex
ercises for the breaking of ground
as the first step in construction of the
Nebraska Stadium. Mr. Alva W. Tay
lor, National .Superintendent of the
Social Welfare Society, was to have
spoken for the regular convention at
the Temple.
"The Inner Meaning of the Ruhr,"
is the subject to be discussed by Mr.
Taylor at a noon luncheon in the club
room of the city Y. M. C. A., Thurs
day. This meeting is a continuation
of the discussions on "War" which
have been lead by Dr. Harry F. Hunt
ington with the co-operation of the
Y. M. C. A. and the Y. W. C. A. Any
one desiring to attend should make
