where they will compete in the Mis
souri Valley championship indoor
meet all day Saturday.

City, but will return after the Valley
meet while the team will set out for

Iluskers can be relied upon to make
a creditable showing.
A number of -,speed artlstsj will
compete In the 50-yard dash at the
Coliseum Saturday. Dave Noble and
Keith Lloyd, who won the first two
places in this event at the K. C. A. C.
meet, will represent Nebraska in this
event, and are expected to garner
their share of the honors. Erwln,
Kansas Aggie sensational sprinter, is
also expected to make a strong bid
for the honors in the sprint events.
Fisher and Woestemeyer are Kansas'
entries in the dashes.
Coach Karl ScLaademan of Kansas
ia placing a great deal of confidence
in his quartet of special event men:
Norton. Poor. Captain Rogers, and
Graham. Norton. Jayhawker sopho
more phenomenom, won first honqrs
in the individual competition at the
Illinois relays, and is expected to go
strong in the high Jump, broad Jump,
shotput, and pole vault at the Valley
meet. Poor is the high Jumper who
cleared better than six feet at the
Athletic club meet, while Rogers pole
vaults regularly in the neighborhood
of twelve feet. Graham is showing
up well in the hurdles.
For the Iluskers Gardner is looked
to win a high place in the half mile,
which he won last year. Allen broke
the tape first in the mile last year,
and should repeat again this year,
as he is in excellent shape. Coats
and Slemmons will also run strong
in the distance events. The Nebraska
ouarter-mile team will probab
ly be composed of Layton, Ted Smith,
Trexler, and Crites.
Suburban Cafeteria
Is Proving Success
Special dinners, cafeteria break
fasts, and luncheons and dinner with
service are some ot tne attractions
that are drawing more and more stu
dents to t'.ie "Rendevous" suburban j
restaurant, operated under the direc-!
tion of the department of halls and j
commons of the University of Wis-1
consin, in Wingra Park, a suburb ot
Madison, about one mile from the
university.
The Rendevous was started last
year because of the need of an eating
place so that the students might room
in that district and relieve the crowd
ed conditions that were raising rents
in the old student quarter. All food
is cooked in the central kitchens ad
joining Lathrop, Barnard, and Chad
bourne halls where the university
operates another cafeteria and two
dining halls. The cooked food is tak
en in containers to the Rendevous.
Besides the regular meals, a number
of special .meals ajre arranged by
groups of students and townspeople
who wish to entertain.

at Omaha Club Dinner
The monthly meeting and dinner
of the Omaha club was held last
night at the Grand hotel. Director of
Athletics Fred Dawson gave n very
Interesting talk on school spirit and
each man's Individual possibilities.
Tlaus for the All-University Spring
Mirer that will be given by the Omaha
club on Saturday, April 7, were dis
cussed, and prospects are bright for
one of the best parties of the year.
Frances McChesney gave a very
clever and Interesting reading,
"Angles Wickedness." The next
meeting of the club will be held
April 23.
Innocence is a virtue that has never
been tried.
