Marriage of Miss Mildred Smith, '22, and Orville Ellerbrock, '20, has been rnnounced by Mr. and Mrs. Horace F. Smith. The wedding was held on July 31 at the summer homo of Mr. end Mrs. Smith In Boulder, Colo. Mrs. Ellerbrock was graduated from the university with the last mid-year class. She Is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and was very prominent in university activities. Mr. Ellerbrock is a member of Delta Upsllon fraternity. Mr. and Mrs. Ellerbrock are spend ing their honeymoon in Estes park. They will make their home in Lincoln. Marriage of Evelyn Caldwell, daugh ter of Prof, and Mrs. H. W. Caldwell, (o Rev. William Hamley of Rice Lake, Wis. will be an event of the coming Friday. The marriage will be held at the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Hamley will live in Rice Lake Wis., where Mr. Hamley is the pastor of the Presbyterian church. PLAY HOUR IS FEATURE OF SUMMER TERM LIFE A unique feature of the summer session at the University of Wiscon sin is "the play hour" open to all students, and held every Tuesday eve ning from 7:15 to 8:15 in the men's gymnasium, under the direction of Prof. J. C. Elsom of the men's physi cal education department. The period is designated to afford recreation for the students, but it also illustrates the use of recreational activities in clubs, sodial centers, and schools. Engagement of Miss Marion Rlsser to Norman Curtice, both of Lincoln, has been announced by Mr. and Mrs. George H, Risser. The marriage will take place August 23 at the home of the RIssers, 1745 C street. Mr. and Mrs. Curtice will make their home in Omaha, where Mr. Curtice is connect ed with the wholesale department of the Rose P. Curtice company. Miss Rlsser has attended the Uni versity of Nebraska. She was a mem ber of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She also attended Pine Manor in Massachu setts. Mr. Curtice is a graduate of Law rencevllle school in New Jersey and has also attended the University of Nebraska. He is a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. Announcement of the engagement of Miss Lois Melton to Fred S. Sidles of Lincoln has been made, by Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Melton. The wedding will take place during the fall season. Miss Melton until the last year attended the University of Nebraska where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega soror ity. She was active in university af fairs and in Lincoln amateur produc tions. Mr. Sidles is a graduate of Culver Military academy. He is now the retail sales manager of the Ne braska Buick company of which his father is the president.
