PLANT DEVELOPMENT
Or. John Ernst Weaver, of the
pcnlocv department spoke on "The
Root Development of Crop Plants", at
the regular monthly meeting of Sigma
Xi Wednesday.
Or. Weaver said that to understand
the problems of crop production it is
necessary to have a thorough knowl
edge of the relation of the roots of
plants to the soil and subsoil.
