Adventuress Club.
The Adventuress Club gave a slum
ber party Saturday night at the home
of Esther McClelland, 2Sth and Ran
dolph. They danced and played cards
in the evening. Refreshments were
served. Sue Stille presided at the
punch bowl. A program was given
as follows. A musical number by
Shepherd Snavely, the Safford tri6,
and a banjo solo by Miss McClellan.
After a short sleep, a waffle break
fast was served. Out-of-town guest
were Lauda Wentworth, Betty Cum
men, Eugenia Shaw and Frances Far
low. Chaperons were Miss . Delia
Clarke and Ida Donati.

The freshmen of Sigma Alpha Ep
silon enteitained fifty couples at a
dancing party at the chapter house
Saturday evening. Purple and gold,
the fraternity colors, were used
throughout the house for decorations.
There were several favor dances ana
whistles and horns were distributed
among the guests. Reiresnment
were served during the evening.
Chi Omega.
Thirty-five couples were entertained
Saturday by Chi Omega at a party
at the chapter house. The evening
was spent in dancing. Chaperons for
the evening were Mrs. Koehler anl
Miss Anderso" Out-of-town guosts
for tre party were Mildred Shirley,
Humboldt; Emma Jane Davis, Alli
ance; Lydia Otto, Denison, Iowa, ana
Dorothy Tonnor, Norton, Kan.
Mildred Shirley, ex-'22, of Hum
boldt, spent the week-end at the Chi
Omega house.
Bernice Meieiyurgen, 24, returned
Sunday from Omaha, where she spent
several days.
Helen Roberts, 24, spent the week
end at her home in Plattsmouth.
Ruby Swensen McLean, ex-'22, of
On-aVip, who spent several days at
the Chi Omega house, has returned
to her home.
Wallace Craig, '23, and Wilder
Blakeslee, "21, have returned from
Ames, Iowa, where they were dele
gates to the national convention of
Sigma Chi.
Emma Jane Davis, ex-22, who spent
several days at the Chi Omega house,
has returned to her home in Geneva.
Margaret Howes, 20, returned Sun
day to her home in Omaha, after a
visit at the Kappa Alpha Theta house.
Mildred Krumm, 23, spent the
week-end at her home in Tilden.
Mary Rosencrans, '2S, returned Sun
day from Omaha, where she spent the
week-end.
Fauline Moore, 22, spent Friday
and Saturday at her home in Te-
cumseh.
Elva Ohlsen, 23, is ill at her home
in David City.
Dorothy Towner, ex-'22, of Turner,
spent Saturday and Sunday as a
guest at the Chi Omega house.
Helen Kirchman, '23, who has been
ill at her home in Wahoo, has re
turned to school.
Donna McDonald, '24, is ill at her
"home In Omaha.
Lydia Otto, ex-22, of Denison, Iowa,
spent the week-end at the Chi Omega
house.
Acacia.
The members of Acacia entertained
the members of Kappa Alpha Theta
at a matrinee dance Saturday after
noon. About twenty couples attended.
The house was artistically decorated
in r.l-.k and cold, the fraternity col
ors. Light refreshments were tei-e.

as chaperons were Mrs. W. A. Brown
and Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Burner..
