Jack Frost caused great confusion among the social butterflies or tne campus when he announced Tuesday night that be would soon make his debut in the University. Not only was the fairer sex pre cipitated into the whirl of society, bu the sternest men displayed great ex citement. The formalities of social life, long since cast aside under the pressure of scholastic duties, were again brought into play. Conversa tion turned from the prosaic topics of University routine to that most re fined of all topics or-polite conversa tion the weather. Men gave up all thought of such a lack of dignity as appearing on thr camrus in shl-t fleeves.' Many co-ed added tho formality of h1 and gloves to her drese. 'No artifice In "milday's toilette" was overlooked More color than usual appealed upon feminine cheeks. No "roll your owns" this morning. And hark! this can only be whis pered. No extravagance of perfume was considered too great The senti mental co-ed making her way to her nine o'clock felt the usual distaste of being pushed about In a crowd some what lessened by a delicate aromatir perfume floating through the air. Shf thought of all the perfumes her aun' had brought from Paris; still shr could not Identify this one. "It must be Oriental." she thought Then sh" heard someone whisper the word "moth-ball." Ah! at last she under stood. It was another ore of the elaborate preparations for Jack Frost's debut Silk and Woolen Sweaters Every kind of sweat er gathers soil rapidly, but a majority of them , clean beautifully. Let us put yours in shape for the next outing. K!aXUH
