Organization and Equipment Tables
EXTRACT
Care of Uuniforms
Par. 37. Articles of clothing will,
except when purchased under author
ity especially given, remain the prop
erty of the United Slates. When
articles of clothing become unfit for
use at regular drills and ceremonies,
the Professor or Military Science and
Tactics will rurnish a certificate to
that effect and a new article will be
furnished the institution, except that
no more than one outfit or uniform
clothing per each R. O. T. C. student
will be furnished any educational in
stitution in one year nor more than
two of any article of clothing per
member of the R. O. T. C. unit will
be in possession of any institution at
one time.
Par. 38. To this end Trofessor of
Military Science and Tactics will ar
range with the institution to place in
storage during the summer months
uniforms which have been issued. At
the close of each school year the
members of the Reserve Officers'
Training Corps will return to the
storerooms indicated by the account
able officer of the institution, all prop
erty which has been loaned to them
for their use in connection with the
Reserve Officers' Training Corps.
Rifles will be carefully cleaned and
well oiled with heavy cosmic oil so
that all metal parts are thoroughly
protected. Canvas equipment will be
thoroughly cleaned with stiff brushes
and otherwise placed in proper con
dition before being turned in. All
articles of uniforms of those who ex
pect to return next year will be thor
oughly brushed and carefully tagged
to show the Ktudent's name and other
means of Identification. Uniforms of
ihe students who do not expect to re
lurn to the institution will be care
fully brushed and packed separately
without being tagged.
Par. 40. All shoes turned in will
be thoroughly dried, cleaned and well
oiled. The shoes of those students
who will return next year will be
tagged with the student's name and
other means of identlfictalon.

are hereby published for the informa
tion and guidance of all students In
the Department of Military Science
and Tactics.
