People who work long hours on Saturday often do not feel the effects until Monday or Tuesday. There we very few diseases that are helped b drugs; not more than lx or eight out of one hundred and flfty. But poor health pretty generally is improved by rest. Sleep, of course, Is the great rest agency. Most people need at least eight hours; more rather than less. Nobody need worry about sloping too much. Often the great trouble with Blck ,,oople Is that they go to the doctor expecting him to give them something to make them well while they keep up the bad habits that made thorn sick. The College world T During the annual shirt tall par Hde last Saturday night at the Kan sas University, George Lynn, ex-'20. of Lawrence and Iteld Logan, 12 years old of the Lawrence high school i injured when street car driving at u high rate of speed, struck a crovd of students. The car had been stopped further down the street by some of the stu dents, who had pulled the trolley wire and according to tin? students tl;e motorman became very angry and drove the car backward, on the wrong side of the street without ringing the bell, into the crowd of students and town people. The crowd was waiting for the second show of the Vntslty theater to be finished. Lynn was struck by tne car on tne head and shoulders and was thrown to the pavement. Logan was caught squarely In front of the car, spun around and hurled under the front end. The Logan boy's leg was broken between ankle and knee.
