ing at the mid-week meeting of the
University Y. M. C. A. at the Temple.

Bryan," he said. He cautioned fresh
men not to overdue science. "A great
scientist has said that scientists are
the most narrow of men. They be
lieve only that which they can see,
hear or touch," he stated. "If, when
you are a senior, you want advice and
sympathy you won't go to the high
ly trained men of the university,'' he
said. "You will go to a man, who
although he may not hold such a
high position, will be one from whom
you may expect sympathy. An edu
cated man is a good man only when
he combines religion with his education.
