SOCIAL EVENTS March 21 Alpha Tau Omega gave Its formal party Friday evening at the Governor's Mansion. Sixty-five couples attended. A color scheme of gold and blue, the fraternity colors, was carried out. Sup per was served at small tables, during which there were several cabaret stunts. Caps and blue and gold bal loons were given as favors. The chap erones were Governor and Mrs. S. R. McKelvIe, Dr. and Mrs. E. J. Stewart. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Reed, Capt. and Mrs. C. J. Frankfurter and Mr. and Mrs. R. E Campbell. The out-of-town guests were: Ensign John Miller, Holmesvllle; John Cutrlght, David Ford and Fred Humphrey, Omaha; O. H. Zum winkle, Utica; Hubert McCoy, Edson Shaw, Raymond Jobst and May nard Dunlap, Fremont. The formal party of Phi Gamma Delt?. wrs given at the Lincoln Hotel Friday evening. One hundred couples attended. The hall was decorated in purple and white, the fraternity colors and thi same color scheme was car-1 ried out in the refreshments. March 22 The Delta Gamma annual banquet was held Saturday evening at the Lin coln Hotel. Silver baskets of plan roses and pink shaded candles were used on the tables. A paper, entitled "The Timber Times,' edited by several Delta Gammas, was given out by two freshmen dressed as newsboys. Delta Chi entertained ninety couples at Rosewilde Friday evening. The hall was decorated in buff and red, the fraternity colors. Two course refresh ments were served at small tables around the hall, during the intermis sion. The chaperones were Mr. and Mrs. C.
