Old Clothes!
Are more valuable that you
might imagine.
To have them properly cleaned,
pressed and reuaired means they
will last a longer time and we
make them look like new ones.
We sterilize them, too that
helps to prolong their life.
May we call for some of your
old clothes?

Miss Burner Continues Discussion
on Campus Problems Before
University Women.
Fundamentally democracy is the
attitude of the mind of the individ
ual," Miss Oolooah Burner Bald at
the mass meeting held Thursday even
ing at the Woman's Hall. "If we are
not careful we do only the easier
things of the moment Some people
go only as far as the surface of the
subject, but to solve things we must
get down to the principal of it.
There is no simpler way of acquir
ing the spirit of it than to study the
great leader of democracy, Jesus
Christ, and his works.
When a person begins to special
ize in a subject, she first studies it
then practices it, and works out in
the laboratory of experience what has
been found. Then she takes up the
works of the leader in The subject
and studies his works thoroughly,
She must get her mind in accordance
with his mind to obtain those results
full filling conditions.
The people one associates with most
are the people one is most like. One
acquires the other's ways, methods
and ideas for such is the law of in
teraction between personalities. It
makes him better able to place him
self in a position in which t'omocracy
wi'.l become easier. Democracy is the
recognition of folks as folks. By
thvj sim fie laws of psychology the
individual will begin to be demo
cratic. .V very large crowd attended the
mass meeting and Alice Allen pre
sided. Florine Reed gave a whistl
ir.s solo. There will be a supper for
a'l unhersity girls Friday evening
at the Woman's Hall at which Miss
Burner will speak again. The Invi
tation is extended not only to every
university girl but to all the faculty.
