REGISTRANTS
All men mho registered before Sep
tember 12 and have subsequently been
placed !n class 1. will not be allowed
to enlist in the S. A, T. C. However,
the question is not fully decided. It
appears that Washington is not clear
on the matter. One order from Cap
tain Maclvor says one thing and an
other received by Chancellor Hastings
on the same day seem to contradict it.
Here are the orders:
Commanding Officer of the S. A. T. C
issues the following:
To clear up status of men who reg
istered in June, 1917, June, 1918,' and
August 24, 1918, all such men who de
sire induction into the S. A. T. C.
are notified that any registrant of the
above dates mho was put in Class 1
and certified for general military ser
vice will not be eligible for Induction
nto the S. A. T. C.
