Comus Club Dance Tickets
All persons holding tickets to the
Comus club dance which was to have
been held February 2 ore notified to
return the same to the students' ac
tivities office at once to have them
refunded.
First Aid Certificates
The Red Cross first aid certificates
for those who took this course under
Dr. Clapp last semester have been
received and may be secured by call
ing at his office.
Notice
All the girls selling Whiskbroom
subscriptions are to hand their money
in at the Students' Activities Office
(and get receipts for it) as soon as
possible. The receipt books are not
to be handed in.
Military Pictures
The Cornhusker pictures for Com
panies A, B and C will be taken today
in front of the Administration build
ing. All cadets are expected to be
present, in uniform and with rifle. The
pictures will be taken with the follow
ing schedule: 11 o'clock. Company A;
11:10 o'clock, Company B; 11:20
o'clock. Company C.
Observatory Lecture
The observatory will be open to the
public Tuesday, March 5, from 7:30 to
10 p. m. if the skies are clear for a
view of Saturn.
There will be a lecture at 8:30
o'clock on "Comets and Meteors.
Red Cross Workers
All Red Cross workers are asked
to come to the rooms in Nebraska hall
Wednesday night, at 7:30 o'clock.
Bring all garments whether finished
or unfinished.
Whiskbroom Subscriptions
Everyone who has been soliciting for
the Whiskbroom must turn in the
money they have collected before
Wednesday night. The receipt books
should be turned in with the money.
Full payment on each subscription is
desired.
Women's Athletic Association
The Women's Athletic association
will meet Tuesday at 7:15 o'clock.
The meeting is important, and every'
body is urged to be out.
Phillips Brooks Club
The Phillips Brooks club will meet
in Faculty hall at 11:45 o'clock today
for lunch. Dr. I. B. Schreckengast of
Wesleyan university will speak on
Undergraduate Preparation and Study.

intensive study.
Classes will be organized in required
subjects for the teachers' professional
certificate and all teachers desiring
such a course are asked to write the

possible, giving such facts as to train
ing and experience as to aid him in
giving advice.
The requirements for admission cor
respond to thoie of the semestral ses
sions as in the general table of en
trance requirements.
Offers Agricultural Work
The college of agriculture offers
work to superintendents, principals
and teachers Interested in the promo
tion of agricultural education In the
rural schools.
War emergency courses for women
are to be given filling the demand for
war service work. Classes in first
aid, home nursing, surgical dressings,
and elementary dietetics will run
through the eight wstks' course.
Owing to the great numbers of
teachers who have gone into war serv
ice or other activities the lack of ex
perienced people is very serious. So
all students or teachers are reminded
that it will be a patriotic service to
take all necessary steps to prepare for
