MANUALS OF MILITARY INSTRUCTION TO CADETS Issued to Non-Oommissioned Officers and Privates Has English-French Vocabulary At the officers' drill Tuesday after noon the non-commiss.onea omcers were Ipsued copies of the "Manual for Non-ComniiHsloned Officers and Pri vates of Infantry." This book is pub lished by the war department for non commissioned officers and privates in the United States army, being also prescribed for engineer companies and coast artillery companies. It contains information useful to practically any man connected with the army, and especially for lower branches of the service. Much of the material has been ob tained from the "Infantry Drill Regu latlons," a manual used last year in the winter Inside instruction at the University, and also material from the "Manual of Interior Guard Duty." In the last chapter, an English-French vocabulary, containing many of the most common words, and phrazes, makes the book especially complete at this time.
