A wedding of more than usual inter
est to Lincoln people, will take place
Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock at the
home pf Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Davies at
Utica, when their daughter, Dorothy,
will become the bride of Mr. Lvalo
Rushton of Omaha. The wedding will
be a quiet home affair and Mr. and
Mrs. Rushton will make their hom9
in Omaha. Both, the bride and eroom
attended the University of Nebraska
last year.
Miss Davies is a member of Delta
Gamma sorority and Mr. Rushton is a
member of Phi Delta Theta. He is
a brother of Mrs. Joseph Seacrest.
Mr. and Mrs. Seacrest. Miss Lillian
Arendt and Miss Virginia Gallentine
will leave tomorrow for Utica to be
guests at the wedding.

University English Club
Constance Rummons, '18, was elect
ed president of the English club at a
meeting Saturday evening with Miss
Louise Pound. Edna Hathaway was
chosen secretary and treasurer.
After the business meeting a story
written by Miss Helen Mitchell was
read by Miss Olivia Pound and another
was read by Prof. S. B. Gass. Dr. H.
B. Alexander read the translation of a
Chinese love song, the music of which
was played by Mrs. Alexander, Mrs.
Alexander gave a humorous "reading
with piano accompaniment.
