Brief Bits of News Prof. Fossler Gives Views. The de partment of mineralogy has just re ceived two large panoramic view.s each about 4 feet in length, one rep resenting the general oil fields at Greybull, Wyo., and the other the re finery. These were donated by Prof. Lawrence Fossler. They will be suit ably framed and displayed in the lab oratories for the benefit of the stu dents. Is Doing Geological Work. Mr. Jerome B. Burnett, '15, is in the city for a few days and a frequent visitor on the campus. Mr. Burnett, who has been doing geological work in Central America and Old Mexico, will take a couple of month's vacation and then return to Columbia, South America, where he will resume operations. Delta Gamma President to Visit Local Chapter Mrs. Payson J. Leat, grand president of Delta Gamma sorority, from Leland Stanford uni versity, will visit the local chapter Thursday. University Notices University Band All band men must report for prac tice Tuesday evening at the Temple. Bring all music that has been issued this year. C. Hurd, consulting engineer, will speak on a topic interesting to all mechanical engineers, but especial ly so to the freshmen. Pan-Hellenic Delegates Meeting of Pan-Hellenic delegates has been called for Tuesday at 11.30 in room 204 of the Administration building, to discuss the policy to be determined upon in regard to formal parties. Congregational Students It was announced at the First Con gregational church Sunday that, an affiliate membership had been estab lished, especially intended to meet the needs of students and other Univer sity people who expect to reside in Lincoln only a limited time. Such persons will retain their membership in their home churches. Announce ment will be made next Sunday of those who have united with the church in this way.
