WILL HEAR NEW
SONG UNI NIGHT
"Nebraska" Written by Unannounced
Author, Will Be Heard for
First Time
A song entitled, "Nebraska," dedi
cated to Jack Best, whose picture will
appear on the title page, is to be in
troduced to the University public on
University Night, at the auditorium,
March 3. The author's name will not
be divulged until that time.
Those who have heard the song
say it has great possibilities as
a popular one-step, that It has "heaps
of pep," and that it wil be a big bomb
in the campaign for a 1917 football
championship.
Although the composer's name has
been kept secret as yet, he is said to
have had a share in the development
of some football Bongs now meeting
with favor at eastern conference
games.
