RESERVE OFFICERS TRAINING CORPS TO GET BIG APPROPRIATION Congress will be asked to appropri ate about $4,500,000 for the reserve officers' training corps at the coming session. The war department esti mates that during the coming year there will be in the reserve officers' training corps about 50,000 students, and officers will have to be provided for them. Of the sum appropriated, uniforms, equipment, tentage and transportation will require almost two and a half million.
