This drill is a combination of arm,
leg and trunk movement, planned for
this exhibition and to demonstrate
the nature of the general body build
ing work as arranged for the regular

Class Apparatus Work
The entire first year men's class
will be divided into eight squads, who
will work on different pieces of gym
nastic apparatus. This work reminds
one of an eight-ring circus and Is plan
ned to demonslrate the type of heavy
gymnastics taught in the regular
classes.
The exhibition work on the horizon
tal and parallel bars, tumbling and
flying rings by members of the gym
nastic team is put on to show the
figures that will be done by the mem
bers of the gymnastic team in the
Western Intercollegiate Gymnastic as
sociation meet at the University of
Minnesota next month.
The exhibition of electric club
swinging will be one of the most spec
tacular numbers on the program,
showing the possibility of combining
complicated movements in fancy club
swinging witlTcolored electric lights.

The championship of the interfra-
ternity basketball tournament will be
decided tonight, when Sigma Alpha
Epsilon plays Delta Tau Delta in the
Armory. The games this year have
been particularly clean. Sixteen fra
ternities have taken part in the tour
nament and the scores have been
close.
The Delta Taus won in the first di
vision by defeating the Acacia, Alpha
Theta Chi and Jtlpha Tau Omega fra
ternities. The Sig Alphs won in the
second division by defeating the
Sigma Nus, Phi Gamma Delta and
Sigma Thi Epsilon.

"The suffering in places visited is be
yond description. People are dying by
the hundreds and must be removed. I
have seen myself hundreds lying by the
roadside, 'and human life is of no more
value than the dust in the street. Con
sider "we are the only people -who can re
lieve the situation by transporting the
refugees."

A Way Has Been
Opened for the Rescue of
These People
The American Relief Clearing
House in Paris has chartered a ves
sel to transport the Serbian refugees
to the island of Corfu. The French
Government has endorsed this
plan and agreed to provide a safe
convoy. The work of transfer
ring the refugees has been in
progress since the last week in
January.
But funds are urgently needed
to Carry on the work: the Allied
Nations are not in a position to
bear the entire expense of caring
for these refugees. -
As Dr Ryan says : "we are the
only people who can relieve the
situation."
