Agriculture entertained at a -party
Saturday evening.
The Kappa Alpha Theta Bridge club
met yesterday afternoon with Mrs.
Milford Johnson for a bridge lunch

The alumni of the School of Agri
culture were entertained Saturday
evening at the home of Mrs. H. C.
Luckey at Fortieth and Holdrege
streets.
S. L. Gardner, '18, Phi Kappa Pel,
reported to the police the loss from
a dresser Friday night the while he
was attending the Cornhusker ban
quet of $25 In bills, $9 in silver and a
check for $1. The thief has not been
apprehended.
Martin B. Chittlck, '16, and Everett
Angle, '18, will leave Wednesday eve
ning for Iowa City, Iowa, where they
will attend the Province Conclave of
Alpha Tau Omega and assist in In
stalling a chapter of Alpha Tau
Omega In Iowa university.

Friday morning at the convocation of
the School of Agriculture by Lenore
Burkett and Buda Orth: Ashford,
"Ever a Song Somewhere"; Beach,
"Ah, Love But a Day"; Thomas,
"Bon Jour, Suzon"; Henschel, "Morn
ing Hymn"; Schubert, "Am Mur";
and Drlda, "Souvenir." Miss Merlin
was the accompanist
The Freshmen of the Beta Theta PI
fraternity entertained the active chap
ter at a dinner-dance at the chapter
house Saturday evening. Twenty-seven
couples were present. Karl Welner,
of the Freshmen, was toastmaster, and
toasts were given by Ted Lonam and
Guy Chamberlain. Mr. and Mrs. John
Lonam were the chaperones. Decora
tions in pink and blue, the Beta col
ors, were used.
The Freshman and Senior football
teams will meet on Nebraska field
Tuesday afternoon to decide the inter-class
championship. In the two
games played so far, the Seniors, tri
umphed over the Juniors and the
Freshmen won from the Sophomores.
The teams are about equal in weight
and experience. No member of the
Freshman football squads are allowed
to compete in the class games.
The engagement of Avilda Moore,
ex-'14, to Dr. Ernest Dana Wilson, '13,
of Chicago, has been announced. Miss
Moore has been studying music In
.Chicago for the past few years and
is at present soprano soloist of the
Kountze Memorial church. Dr. Wilson
la an instructor In the Kent Chemical
laboratory of the University of Chi
cago. He was graduated from the
University of Nebraska with Sigma
Xi honors. He is a member of the
Alpha Chi Sigma and Gamma Alpha
fraternities. The wedding will take
place Wednesday evening, Decem
ber 29.

awarded annually by M. A. Sharp,
class of 1915, to the members of the
University Rifle Team who make sec
and and third highest scores in all Inter-collegiate
matches.
