CONCERT GIVEN FOR BOHEMIAN RELIEF Program Under Auspices of Komensky Klub Suffering in Bohemia Is Equal to That in Belgium The Harmonique Trio gave a. con cert in the interests of the Bohemian relief fund at the Temple Theatre, "Saturday evening at 8:15. The suffer ing of the Bohemians is said to be equal to that of the Belgians, and the Komensky Club took this opportunity to aid this suffering people. The members of the trio are Mrs. August Molzer, Miss Lillian Eiche and Miss Edith Burlingim. The Slavonic Dance deserves special mention, and also the Serenade, which is one of Mr. Molzer's own compositions. Carpet Tacks Too Much for Night Traffic of Jitneys . Seattle, Wash., Feb. 12. Some one spread several pounds of ordinary carpet tacks, point tip ward, along the lakeside drive on North Fortieth street As a result, twenty disabled jitneys lined the curb between the College Inn and the Latona Tailrqad crossing at 10:30 last night. At various times between 9 o'clock and midnight fifty slightly wounded cars limped Into the haven of safety on flat tires. One Jitney came In bear lng five other drivers, who each car ried all the way from one to four punctured tires. , Detectives, motorcyle policemen, policemen on cheats and police auto containing sergeants and drivers were detailed to work on the case. These were of no avail and the Jast reserve, the street cleaning corps, came to the rescue. Some of the drivers hate, la imml ure, been recompensed for the loss of their tires by th splendid collection of carpet tacks they now have. Purdue's football squad will meet monthly during the remainder of th year to listen to talks by their coach and captain.
