our sentiments as "well as upon every

America. I am speaking. I feel sure,
the earnest wish, and purpose of every

from drill. This is" an annual event,
but It is being played stronger than
ever this year, apparently on account
of tha trying situation abroad. The
most common excuse seems to be
that drill interferes with "my religious
scruples." It's them: and the com
mandant for it; so we have nothing
to say.

Obituary Notice.
The Daily Nebraskan has the sad
I' -duty to perform of :announcin2 to the
student public lhat on "Wednesday,
September 16th, twenty-nine of the
newly earolled students -were found
dead. No amount of friendly effort on
the part of Nebraskan solicitors could
save these fellow students. Though
given repeated opportunities to save
themselves, they persisted in their de
termination to .place themselves on
the list of the "dead ones." "We take
this opportunity of warning any jiow
exposed to the same sad fate that .a
few nages of the Nebraskan taken
daily is a positive cure for all the ills
to which a student is exposed and is a
delightful and harmless remedy
Recommended by Dean Engberg,
Chancellor Avery aad Prank Perkins
Bald cure can be procured at Station
A. the Unl postofflce, for the small
price of $1.00. -The uncertainty in Ihe,
production of the ingredients con
tained therein, Sue to the European
war and some other causes, makes it
necessary to increase the price of the
Daily Nebraskan to $1.25 after the
first of October. In order not to be
without this household necessity, see
some of our asents about the campus
and obtain the "dollar prescription for
all studnt Ills." Advertisement
