Throughout the program the audience was unusually enthusiastic, and when, at the close of the entei talnment I he Ilalleluah was given, the applause was deafening. It was noted that while the girls were In the ma orlty In the audience, the number of men present was much larger than usual on su h occasions. The quintet was composed of Mr. Ed. J Walt, first violin; Mrs. August Molzer. second violin; Mr. Win. T. Quick, viola; Miss Lillian IOiche, 'cello. Miss Muriel Jones was at the piano and Miss Zum winkle at the orgun. AWGWAN BREAKS LOOSE AGAIN Christmas Edition of the Glever Pub lication Moves Many to Tears. Results of Girls' Tag Week Not as Good as Originally Hoped For The results that the girls obtained from the sale of the Christmas tugs on the campus, were not as good as had been hoped for, according to Miss Oniveeve Lowry, who is the chairman of the committee in charge of the work. This is the first attempt at such an Idea on the campus and the next will no doubt meet with greater success. The sum that bus been bunded In to the ehuirmun up to dute from the sale is about one hundred and twenty-five dollars. This sum will be used to enable the poor families of tho city to enjoy Christmas, the older members of the families will be given clothing and other useful articles, while, the young, sters will receive toys and various play things that the juvenile heart longs for at this season of the year. The committee bus on its list some twenty families, including eighty children which will be cured for from the money obtained form the sale of the tags upon the campus. The committee has been promised automobiles to use while purchasing and distributing the presents. Thy will begin the purchuse of the gifts Monday and will deliver them the day before Christmas SPHARO STYX SEATS ON SALE AFTER HOLIDAYS Combined Vaudeville and Minstrel Show Produced at Oliver Third Week in New Year. Teeming sitli jokes of all varieties, some unusuully acute, others ridicu lously obtuse, the running mate of "Life" rupidl found its way into the hunds of its subscribers and the pa trons of Ed Young. The simple, tasty Christmas cover and one or two clever, significant "cuts" catch the eye of the eusuul reader as he glances through the distinctive pages of the edition. The management wishes to give all the organizations a chance to engage blocks of seats and these exchange tickets are being issued for this pur pose. The cast represents members from almost every organization, fraternity, and sorority in school. Almost the entire dramatic ability of the school has been whipped into places suitable for each and have been hard at work for some weeks past. All seats will be in demand long be fore the night of the show, the uni versity public is warned to come buck from vacation with the Intention of buying their seats early.
