THE DAILY NEBEASKAN HAS ADVERTISING SCHEME AT THE THEATRES CLASSIFIED COLUMN t 4 8TUDENT WOULD MAKE BUL- LETIN BOARD 8ELLINb AND 8WAPPING MEDIUM. Doob anybody want to sell, swap or buy anything? If you do then listen to this. A student' has proposed the novel Idea that a glass card case or bulletin board be hung up In "U" hall and that studentB having saleable arti cles of desiring to purchaBo such shall ubo this as an .advertising medium. Can you imagino the following: "For aale cheap, four gym suits by sonlor engineers?" Or, "Board's for sale by freshman law Oood as now." May be you would want to put one In like this: "For Bale, ticket to tho Military Formal." Or imagine how convoniont It would bo to insert this: "Wanted, reserved seats for University Night." But laying all Jokes aside, the plan Ib very practical. Anyone who haB had any experience selling books to tho dealers knows that ho is lucky if ho gets a fourth of his original price for the book, whereas if he attemptB to buy a second-hand book it costs very nearly as much as -a new one Through the advertising medium of the bulletin board students would bo able to make direct connection and thuB avoid paying the excessive profltB of the middleman. Have Gravos print it for you. 233 North Eleventh St. CIVIC LEAGUE IS FORMED. University Speakers Will Discuss Questions of Public Interest.
