Tho contract will probably bo awarded at tho mooting of the board of rogonts Thursday morning. Among tho contractors out for tho Job is Goorgo A. Shawl of Sonoca, Kas., who was tho successful blddor on tho contract for tho now plant industry building at tho stato farm, awarded at tho last meotlng of tho board. Tho compotlng firms aro as follows: W. L. Camel, Lincoln; R. Burko, Omaha; Gould & Sons, Omaha; Lewis Jensen, Lincoln; Georgo C. Posha, Collogo Viow; Assenmachor company, Lincoln; Bridges, Hoyo & Co.; J. P. Botz, (Topoka, Kas.; II. Ellonborgor & Co., Chicago; .George A. Shawl, Seneca, Kas.; James I. Barnes, Logansport, Ind. A New Medical Building. , Tho figuro of tho contract will bo woll within tho '$86,000 appropriation of tho legislature, as all extras must also come out of tho lattor. Tho board will also adopt architects' plans for tho now medical building at Omaha and advertlso for bids upon them. Chancellor Avery returned Wednes day from a trip to Culbortson where ho wont for an lntorviow with Mr. Taylor, tho father of tho bill that pro vided for tho loglslativo appropriation of $15,000 for an agricultural substa tion at that placo.
